# Spark Connector Release Notes

The {Ocient} Spark Connector integrates {Spark} with the Ocient System. For details, see [JDBC Spark Connector](/jdbc-spark-connector).

## 1.2.0 (2026-07-24)

* Added support for vectors and matrices as nested types in the Spark connector. This feature requires Ocient System version 28 or later and JDBC driver version 4.3.0 or later.
