Install an Ocient System

Ocient Application Installation

You can install the software application by installing a single RPM or package.

For a list of prerequisites needed for Ocient installation, please see the Ocient System Requirements.

For access to the Ocient RPM, please contact Ocient customer support.

Application Installation

Commands

Consult the documentation for the package manager of your operating system for specific options and command-line syntax.

The example commands shown here use the package version named ocient_23.0.0-20230801.0021.el7.x86_64, but your version could differ.

RPM Installation

Repository Installation

If the package is installed from a repository, use this command to install the latest version.

If the RPM is installed from the local file system, use this command.
